The holy grail
Astronomers may have found their "holy grail". The planet lives in the orbit of the star Gliese 581. Gliese 581 c is believed to be within the habitable zone where liquid water, commonly thought to be a necessary ingredient for life, could exist. The newly discovered planet, says the research team, is about 50 percent larger than the Earth and about five times as heavy. "Models predict that the planet should be either rocky -- like our Earth -- or covered with oceans." - The distance from earth is quite close, "only" 20.5 light years :) Take that into consideration when you plan your next vacation.
